Day 1: Digital Data Acquisition and Virtual Planning • Introduction to Digital Workflows: An overview of the digital ecosystem in implant dentistry and the benefits of prosthetically driven planning. • Data Collection: Best practices for acquiring accurate CBCT scans (DICOM files) and utilizing intraoral scanners (STL/PLY files). • Data Merging & Alignment: Step-by-step software tutorials on importing, cleaning, and accurately superimposing CBCT data with intraoral surface scans. • Virtual Treatment Planning: Hands-on (virtual) practice setting up a digital wax-up and plotting ideal 3D implant positioning based on bone volume, anatomical landmarks, and restorative goals. Day 2: Surgical Guide Design and Prosthetic Execution • Surgical Guide Fabrication: Principles and software tools for designing tooth- supported, mucosa-supported, and bone-supported surgical guides. • 3D Printing Fundamentals: Exporting STL files, preparing them for the printer, and understanding the different resins and printing parameters required for surgical guides. • Complications and Troubleshooting: Managing software errors, guide misfit. • One on One planning session: Each course participant will get a one on one planning session with Prof.Hamed. There will be a course batch group on whatsapp for ongoing exchange of cases and student support
